What To Expect

Minimalist practice

My office doesn't have a waiting room. With the exception of emergencies, there is no wait. My patients are seen at the time they are scheduled.

I work without support staff. I am present with patients for the entire duration of the visit. I check vital signs, go over health history, conduct physical exams, and discuss treatment plans.

My practice is a one-provider show. I am very accessible - I take all calls. Existing patients are able to contact me directly on my cell phone and by email. Usually, I can accommodate same day or next day appointments.

Comprehensive care

Before your first visit In preparation for your first visit, I recommend that you:

  1. Contact your healthcare provider(s) to obtain your recent medical records including laboratory and diagnostic test reports that you may wish for me to review.
  2. Make a list of all prescription medicines and natural supplements that you are currently taking. Please include daily dose and indication.

First visit I ask that you allow 1.5 hours for your first visit. During that time I will gather your complete health history, review your current medications, supplements and medical records, perform a head to toe physical examination, recommend laboratory testing (if medically warranted), make nutritional and lifestyle suggestions, and outline your health care program.

Return visits Subsequent office visits last 30 minutes to 1 hour and are scheduled in 2-8 week intervals. The length of visit is based on your progress and health concerns. During follow up visits, I gather your interim health history, review your medications and supplements, assess your progress, answer your questions, and recommend changes to your treatment plan (if needed).
